KELMARSH HALL
Garden & Flower Photographer UK
Introduction
I am a fine art garden and flower photographer in the UK. My photography is understated and elegant. With an eye for beauty and flattering light I seek to portray the grace of a garden, of a flower.
As an artist, I am drawn to images with a timeless authenticity, beautiful grain & texture, so invest exclusively in traditional film.

EMBRACING GARDENS IN ALL THEIR RICHNESS
For over twenty years, I have pursued a life driven by creativity, beauty & light, intrinsically woven through my passion for travel and the natural world.
My work reflects how I see the world through my eyes and heart. Primarily a seeker of complimentary light, shape and form, I intuitively find beauty in sometimes the often overlooked.
Working with traditional-film and a naturalistic approach, my photography portrays gardens & flowers without manipulation or intervention.
Heart-led, Naturalistic Photography

PHOTOGRAPHY THAT REFLECTS HOW I SEE THE WORLD
Emotive Garden & Flower Photography
AS NATURAL AS NATURE
Let's create something beautiful together
As I build my portfolio over the forthcoming months whilst navigating garden & flower photography, I would love to work with likeminded garden, flower and landscape creatives on mutually rewarding projects.
Previously, as a UK leading Fine Art Wedding Photographer, I invested time to push my creativity. Working toward an exciting common goal, collaborations are perfect for elevating one's creativity, with the added potential of being published.

Intuitive Interpretations & Lasting Impressions
Neither contrived, nor forced, I allow a subject to reveal itself to me, whilst at the same time, studying and observing.
At the point of reveal, there is a sense of deep connection and knowing, and it is at this point that I will commit to film.
Photography is more than merely raising the camera to one's eye, and pressing the shutter button. It is many things, such as immersing oneself in a scene, connecting with it, having a sense of anticipation, being surprised, and being touched in a profound way.
PHOTOGRAPHY THAT IS ROOTED IN THOUGHTFUL STORYTELLING
A Musing
Rousham, Oxfordshire

It was the Dovecote with espalier pear and apple trees adorning its walls in the Parterre rose garden that first drew me in. On arriving, my first glimpse of the Pigeonaire stole my heart, then when I visited the 'Vale of Venus' garden, my senses were ignited.
Despite heavy rain throughout the day, I was able to capture some of Rousham's beauty, and cannot wait to visit again in different seasons.
I am alone, there is no one in this space to disturb me. There is birdsong, a gentle breeze and the sound of my heartbeat. My eye is drawn to an occasional ray of sunlight that ascents the garden and I ponder over this moment.
The garden is dotted with historic flair as well as modern finesse and completed by its planting. My breathing becomes in tune with the garden's rhythmic movement as a breeze gently weaves a path through. Our souls collide. The charm and beauty of this place awakens my desire to immortalise this moment in my heart, for every such moment is transient and irretrievable.
Not one day, moment, second is the same, nor will I discover every story conveyed before me. But, that is not the purpose here; it is to delight, respect, appreciate and to capture. As I raise my camera to my eye, this moment can only be captured with the right amount of sensitivity and vision. It is then that the magic reveals itself to us.
