Capturing the Heart of a Garden Creator
Bryony the Gardener transforms outdoor spaces with warmth, creativity, and a keen eye for detail. This personal branding photoshoot was designed to showcase her story, her process, and the essence of her work, creating imagery that speaks as much to her personality as it does to her craft.

Bryony the Gardener Brand Photography Story
Warm, personable, and deeply passionate about her craft, Bryony the Gardener is a fully qualified horticulturalist designing and creating gardens across Northamptonshire. She asked me to create a collection of personal branding photographs that tell her story and attract her dream clients online.

Planning the Shoot

After an initial phone chat and a few follow-up emails, I began to get a real sense of Bryony’s personality and her vision. From there, I created a tailored shoot plan that mapped out everything from our creative goals to the finer details — the best time of day for natural light, a shot list to ensure variety, wardrobe guidance that reflected her brand’s earthy aesthetic, and a selection of props that would bring her work to life: garden design sketches, patio samples, well-thumbed magazines, and floral touches.

A few days before the shoot, I checked the forecast and touched base again to make sure we were perfectly aligned — calm, prepared, and ready to make the most of the day.

The Day of the Shoot

It was such a joy to curate this session with Bryony, Sophie, and Georgia. Bryony’s creativity shone through in every detail — from the textures she brought along to the genuine laughter we shared between shots. The thoughtful props helped us build a layered narrative, allowing each image to feel like a window into her process rather than a posed portrait.

A heartfelt thank you to Morna for welcoming us into her stunning garden — and for stepping in front of the lens with such grace. Her space provided the perfect setting for Bryony’s story to unfold naturally.

The result is a suite of imagery that feels both personal and professional — capturing the warmth, skill, and authenticity that make Bryony the Gardener so special.
