Home to the Tollemache family and their 500 year history

In June, I tagged onto a mini-road trip to Norfolk and Suffolk a visit to Helmingham Hall Gardens, after receiving an invitation to visit a garden in Beccles owned by an award winning garden designer, and a private visit to photograph the Kitchen Garden, designed by Arne Maynard, at Holme Hale Hall.

The Gardens are Grade I Listed, Helmingham is so very photogenic, and lends itself beautifully to my aesthetic. Sadly, it was a fleeting visit as rain came shortly after my arrival, and I was running late for my accommodation check-in.​
