a fleeting visit to check out the yew tree garden

 

I have discovered that I have a penchant for topiary and yew trees, so I visited Newstead Abbey after discovering an inspirational capture by Annaick Guitteny of Newstead's Yews. I can't wait to revisit at a time when the light is forgiving, and there is a touch of frost or mist.
