January Hush & Anticipation
in the Cutting Garden of Brigitte Girling
It was early morning. There was a gentle hush in the garden.
Soft-warm sunlight was juxtaposed with remnants of the harsh-steely Frost.
Dewy droplets held fast like necklace jewels, and tiny buds suggested that something was about to unfold.
Whilst I did not have any preconceived ideas on how to photography Brigitte's garden,
When I think of Nature, tranquility, strength and admiration come to mind.
Murmurings emanate from beyond opulent Bronze Drapes
Tiny notes of light emit from the Orchestra's Pit
The rustling sound as the musicians warm up their instruments make for heady anticipation
Something marvellous is about to unfold
... but relish now in this moment, in its stillness, in its sleepy hush
